About iptel.org
iptel.org is a VoIP portal promoting VoIP technologies and
is initiated by Germany's national research institute Fraunhofer Fokus.
This site is aiming at:
- Providing information and references to VoIP standards
- Distribution of VoIP software developed by Fraunhofer
Fokus. Under the name of the SIP Express Router (SER), we offer a
basic version of a SIP-based VoIP platform.
- Demonstration and provisioning of free IP-2-IP VoIP service
- Results of VoIP research at Fraunhofer Fokus
Fraunhofer Fokus provides research and consulting services regarding
security, VoIP services
and next generation networks. Please notice this service does not
include consulting services regarding the set-up and installation of
SER.
